Soft Skills Training

I'm beginning to purge the personal documents I've been keeping for years now.  It breaks my heart doing so.  Every memories they represent were worth remembering.  But I have no choice, I really have to get rid off these mess...I need to clear my place in the office and at home.

What a good idea to have them post here instead of purging them altogether.

One of our activity during our soft skills training was describing the person in briefest and the most accurate word as possible.  I was so glad my colleagues only wrote possitive things about me.

OMG! I'm late for my CIIP Seminar, the first of the series of seminars given by the Canadian Embassy. I can't believe my luck today. First, the traffic was so heavy, didn't expect that coz it's Wednesday, it's supposed to be no-hassle day. Second, the cab I rode had a problem with the a/c, the driver asked me to get another cab. Third, I got off from the cab in a taxi-forsaken place, just after Bagong-Tulay. I waited 30 minutes to get another cab. Fourth, the cab driver is clueless on Makati roads, I guided him. Even phone a colleague for some directions.
The only good thing is that I tried calling my CIIP Coordinator to reschedule but she reassured me that she could accommodate me even when I'm late. Thanks God for this.
My physical exhaustion is just a pea in my bed of roses today. My status has changed to DECISION MADE! The only missing thing is my visa. Please Mr. Postman run as fast as you can:-D. I could not describe the feelings I have today-excitement, anticipation, fear, even sadness coz a dear friend said goodbye to our company. I'm so focused on getting all my works done at the office that I seldom take a moment to chill:-|.

Truly, God is so good. Believe in Him, He got our back!

It's ladies night out! Karaoke to the max with my UCPB friends @ centrestage. I will surely miss our spur of the moment get-together. We decided to continue our karaoke same day next week;-).

AVATAR - A MUST SEE MOVIE!

I really have no plans on watching the Avatar movie, but the fiasco has finally made me march to the moviehouse with a friend.  And I’m really glad I was presuaded to watch the movie.

I like the story – the possibility of having other world with actual living creatures such as the planet of Pandora.   I like its message that we are goverened by one divine being- Eywa for the Na’vi and its very important moral on preserving the environment.  I was like knocked-out on its implications that we homo sapiens are greedy, but having a deeper thought---- we are really greedy!  Let’s take a classic example of owning a land on the moon!  HAH!

A great movie with a deep message, I just hope everybody gets the meaning.
